Mercedes, an avid treasure hunter, decided to expand on her hobby of choice and discovered that Real Estate provided the perfect fit to her passion and qualifications. Complementing Mercedes’s Real Estate Profession is her strong Financial background. Mercedes has a Degree in Economics and Finance and a wealth of International experience, ranging from working for a NPO in Washington DC, assisting and mentoring minorities from neighbourhoods undergoing revitalization in matters relating to small business planning, micro-loans and affordable housing; to working on Bay Street in Commercial Lending with one of the Big Five. Other contributing assets are her proficiency in English and Spanish and conversational French and strong negotiating skills, only sharpened by two small and highly witted girls that make sure Mommy is always on her toes.
As someone who has personally gone through every stage of the Real Estate experience. Leased when first moving to Toronto to work on Bay Street, later purchased her first home, followed by the decision to invest on an income producing property, which was rented and later sold for a considerable profit and, more recently, moved to her second home to accommodate her growing family.
